A marvellous Pub and Hotel located on Stamford Street, The Mad Hatter, with its 30 superb rooms, provides the best value accommodation in the Southwark area, while the pub downstairs serves up delicious fresh food and great ale. Stylish ensuite with bath and shower.
Kind of weird how the building stands alone (literally) and at the time of writing lots of construction going on around. Nice hotel but not enough staff. We didn't get breakfast due to them being unable to cope with the amount of guests. They ran our of beer during our visit too.
Staff was wonderful. Very good value at this small historic hotel. Rooms good sized and housekeeping was good and consistent I was looking for a British feel hotel and this place delivered everything I had hoped. Will stay again
